IMAGING

Our designer tool performs a resolution check on each image uploaded. The quality assessment is calculated based on the number of pixels within the image along with the chosen print size. If the photo does not meet the minimum print quality requirements, a warning will display in the design tool to inform you of this. At this point you will have the option of either uploading a better-quality photo or proceeding place the order “as is”. Please note: If you choose to proceed to order a print with a low-quality photo, we will not process reprints should the photo quality be unsatisfactory. We always recommend using high quality photos for photo art reproduction
Our online design tool allows you to add stylized text to your photos within the print boundaries. We offer numerous font styles, colours, and sizes. If you need to add elaborate text or word art designs to your custom photo prints, contact us for graphic design support.
Our online photo editor provides a quick and easy method of cropping, adjusting, and customizing your photos for all customizable photo products. Upon approving your project and placing your order, a print ready file will be generated and adding to the queue for printing.
It is important to understand that the colours depicted in the online previews will vary somewhat from the actual printed product and we cannot guarantee it will match your screen.
 
Here are the reasons why…. Backlighting – When you view your images on electronic devices (computer monitor, smartphone, tablet, etc.), they have illuminated displays. The colours, details and overall appearance will look very bright and vibrant. Printed products are not illuminated, even though the artwork printed on them closely match the original image files, they will always appear darker.  
 
Material – Depending on the type of substrate you order (i.e., canvas, metal, wood, or fine art photo paper) there will be varying degrees of tonal changes, colour saturation and clarity. Each material has its own unique qualities and characteristics which will influence the appearance of the print. 
 
Calibration – To get better colour accuracy and consistency when submitting print work, we strongly recommend colour calibrating your displays with a professional device such as X-Rite i1 Display Pro or Datacolor Spyder X Pro. Non-calibrated displays will always have incorrect RGB levels, brightness and contrast settings leaving you with inaccurate visual representations and constant guesswork. Not to worry though, all of our in-house systems are professionally calibrated and configured to output the best results on our printing equipment. So if you are not able to calibrate your systems, we’ve got you covered. 
 
RGB -> CMYK – Your RGB images will be translated to CMYK as our printers use CMYK inks. The printed photo art and colours will be perceptually similar but it will not match your screen exactly as slight variances occur when translating from one colour space to another.  Note: If colour matching is a requirement for your photo print project, we suggest you request a sample print to review prior to placing larger order. Another great option could be to work with your nearest Pro Photo Lab.
Depending on which custom photo product you are ordering, you will be presented with different photo customizing and enhancement options within the editor. Once your order is submitted to us, the image files will go through a quick enhancement process. This process optimize and adjust your image’s levels, brightness, contrast, vibrancy and sharpness if necessary. Online Designer
Our online designer accepts JPG file formats. This format is perfectly fine to output high-quality prints. 
 
Send us your file
You are more than welcome to send us your photography / artwork files in alternative file formats.
 
Accepted alternative formats: TIF, PDF, PSD, AI, EPS
 
If the files are too large for email, you can use a service like Dropbox, Sendfile and Wetransfer.
 
If your are storing your files in Google Drive, One Drive, iCloud, etc. Simply select the high resolution version and share the file(s) with [email protected]
We offer an extensive range of print sizes that use common aspect ratios. To avoid excessive cropping of your photo, ensure you are selecting a size that matches your image’s aspect ratio.  This helpful guide below provides a visual reference of the difference aspect ratios.
 

ORDERING

You can access the Canvas n Décor Canada website and photo editor from any computer, smartphone, or tablet. We prefer that you place all orders online through our website, the ordering process is extremely easy and efficient for both our customers and our operations. If you require a “custom size” that is not offered online, we will gladly process your order by email
All current deals, promotional offers and conditions are outlined on our promotions page. On occasion email subscribers to our newsletter may receive “exclusive” limited time promotional offers which are not available to the public. As a value-added service, we giveaway a free custom HD metal photo print or canvas print with every order depending on the amount of money you spend with us. To redeem your free print, place your order and email us the image to be use for the free print. Be sure to include your Order ID #.  
 
Please note: All free print redemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of placing your order.

The prices listed on our website is priced already discounted and priced very aggressively. You will find that our overall value offering (price, high quality and service) is probably the best in Canada. Additional discounts or free prints are possible, but this depends on the order requirements, quantity and sizes. If you are looking for just the cheapest price, there are other online suppliers who specialize in cheaply priced prints but beware their quality is very poor – we are not one those types of manufacturers.
No problem, we understand if you have changed your mind and need to cancel your order.  Cancellations have a 24-hour cut-off window as we have a lot of orders to process at any given time and try our best to move them through our system as fast as possible. We cannot accept cancellation requests any later than this as we may have already started the production process for your order.
If you are cancelling an order within the 24-hour time frame and want to be refunded, a refund will be processed in full within 48-72 hours.
 
Custom Printed orders Custom printed goods are considered final sale and we cannot accept refund requests as the product was customized to your needs. If there is a defect with the product, we ask that you provide supporting photos or videos depicting the problem.  Once reviewed we will contact you with a resolution.  
 
Stock Item orders Our collection of stock wall art and home decor products change every season. All purchases are considered final sale. No exchanges or returns are accepted.
All purchases are final sale and we do not accept returns.  We do not accept returns on items through normal wear and tear.
Please verify that your mailing address for your credit card matches the billing address with your bank. Should your credit card continue to decline, you will need to contact your bank directly.
Unfortunately, gift card not available to purchase online but you can contact us. directly and purchase one by email. Once purchased, gift cards can only be redeemed by email.
Pre-ordering means to order an item before it becomes available. Once the item becomes available, you will be notified that it has been shipped or ready for pickup.

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

We offer free ground shipping on all orders over $149.

In order to qualify for the free shipping, your online cart subtotal must meet or exceed $149 after any promotional discounts have been applied.

Sales taxes and/or any shipping charges are not inclusive.

If your order value is not eligible for free shipping, we charge a low flat rate of $16.99 for ground shipping to anywhere in Canada (except for Northwest Territories, Nunavut & Yukon).

SHIPPING SURCHARGES 

We work with a variety of couriers such as UPS, GLS, Canpar, Canada Post and Purolator. Each of these courier companies have predefined delivery zones which are classified as Rural or extended delivery areas. Additional delivery surcharges may be applicable to your order depending on your shipping postal code.

The surcharges are imposed by the couriers (not us) to cover additional costs of delivering to specific regions.

If a surcharge is applicable to your order, our customer service department will contact you.

Our Canadian online store canvasndecor.ca ships anywhere in Canada. If you would like to have your order shipped outside of Canada, please contact our team.

All orders can be picked up locally by appointment only at this time at our London, Ontario location. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

All orders are packaged with highly durable packaging materials. Out of thousands of shipments we send out each year, literally a small fraction of them get damaged.

No need to worry though! If your package(s) get damaged in transit, we will gladly have your photo art replaced and shipped out again.

Our standard shipping service is by ground across Canada except for Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon.
